As part of #KitchenFest! 2024, we are thrilled to invite you to the Big Bash at Colaisde na Gàidhlig | The Gaelic College! Set against the stunning backdrop of St. Ann’s Bay, our outdoor performance centre will come alive with the sounds of music during this spectacular event. Running from 3 pm to 10 pm, rain or shine, this licensed affair (for ages 19 and above) promises a lineup of six headline acts to keep you entertained all day long. With on-site food and bar services available, attendees will have all they need to go the distance. Plus, if staying nearby, we can help with transportation—we’ll be offering a complimentary shuttle service between our venue and Baddeck. No, there are no options to camp or park an RV on site. However, there are several great options for tenting or RVs near St. Ann's, Baddeck or Boularderie that are all within a half hour drive from the Gaelic College.

Yes! Thanks to our partners at Cape Breton University, a free shuttle service will be provided to and from the village of Baddeck throughout the day long event. Book your overnight stay now and take advantage of this great service.
No refunds will be issued. Tickets are transferable, so you will be able to pass your ticket on to someone else if you can't make it.

Yes, this is a 19+ event and there will be a bar on site during the show. You must have your ID on you at all times and be ready to show it when entering and when purchasing alcohol.
There is a limited amount of bench seating available, but you might want to bring your own chair or blanket. There will be plenty of space to set up on the grassy hillside.
There is a paved flat path leading to the concert site. However, the concert site itself contains a short gravel path at the top of the hill and then a grassy hillside leading down to the stage.
Yes, you may bring your service animal. Any animals that are not service animals will not be permitted to enter.

There will be food available from vendors on the concert grounds. It's okay to bring a snack from home.
