Orianna MacNeil

Orianna MacNeil comes from a family of 5 musical sisters, the middle child of Tracey and Paul MacNeil based out of Mabou. A talent with her guitar and voice, she's also successful on the ice, as this member of the UPEI Panthers women's hockey team was recently named the AUS Women’s Hockey Rookie of the Year. Her musical family is dedicated to their Gaelic cultural roots, a trait evident in her ability to sing in both Gaelic and English, but also in the precise rhythmic ability she demonstrates in her music. Herself and her sisters make up the group NicNeil who have already released their debut album entitled Back Current Jam.
