Marion Dewar

Marion is from just outside Antigonish, Nova Scotia and has been playing piano for many years. She often accompanied Jerry Holland and travelled extensively throughout North America and Europe. Marion comes from a musical background. Her mother Jean Fraser being an accompanist for many years was a mainstay in Eastern Nova Scotia and developed a reputation for reliable timing. Marion's son, Allan, is also a piano accompanist having recorded with many well known fiddlers. Her daughter Joan also plays fiddle.
