Cathy Hawley is a piano player from the Port Hood area who has played with a variety of musicians over the years, including legendary fiddler Winston Fitzgerald. Her accompaniment can be found on his last album, The Inimitable Winston (Scotty) Fitzgerald, recorded in 1966. Cathy is also a valued member of community, having organized the annual Chestico Step Dancing Festival for years, a concert highlighting the area's rich dance styles. She continues to play to this day at many community events and concerts.
