Ben Smith is a recent graduate of Cape Breton University, where he completed a BACS, BBA, and a certificate in music. Raised in the Caribbean, Ben spent his summers in Cape Breton visiting family and deepening his connection to traditional music. A fiddler and violinist for over ten years, he has performed in orchestras and at community events both locally and abroad. For the past two summers, Ben has been on staff at the Gaelic College, performing and MCing at Cèilidhs, and serving as recreation director for the annual summer school programming.
