Abigail MacDonald

Abigail MacDonald is from St. Andrews, Antigonish County and grew up surrounded by Gaelic music and culture. Her father is a respected fiddler from a long line of musicians and tradition bearers. He passed on this talent to Abigail, who is also a Gaelic singer, piano player, highland and step dancer. Over the years, Abigail has been part of many community-based Gaelic programs such as Na Gaisgich Òga, Féis Cape Breton, and most recently Daltachas. Abigail is a regular musician at ceilidhs and dances throughout the province, and has been both performer and host at many KitchenFest! events past and present.
