Lisa MacArthur

Lisa MacArthur was born and brought up in the Codroy Valley, Newfoundland. Lisa’s love for Cape Breton, Scottish, and Irish music shines through in her abilities with the fiddle and as a step dancer. Making Halifax, NS her home, she performs the session and festival circuit when her schedule allows. Her self-titled debut CD has received favourable reviews, including an award nomination from the Newfoundland and Labrador Music Association. It features guest musicians Dave MacIsaac, Brenda Stubbert, Ed Woodsworth and members of the Barra MacNeils.
