When thinking of the Gaelic College, many conjure up the sight of pipe bands on campus and the whirling sound of the drones in unison, as the College has a long-standing history with the instrument. In this afternoon show, we put them in the limelight, as well as some key players on the island today. Nuallan pals Keith MacDonald and Kevin Dugas are no strangers to the College or local music scene, and are often playing together with Mac Morin who will join the lads on piano. Throw in Patrick Gillis on guitar for good measure, and we’re in for some wicked, swinging tunes. Ryan J. MacNeil and Trevor Kellock are often paired and playing together these days as well, both having worked hard to establish the recent Cape Breton University pipe band and get it to where it is today. A couple of our favourites, Evans and Doherty will add song and laughs into the mix, as we sit back, relax, and enjoy this great afternoon pub.
